While some players love the clothes, others love the events, and a few love to try for the podium, then there are those of us who especially love the apartments & the decorating ideas we get to display, share, & change. With all of the items there are to win in the events, there is usually a new, full room, added to the game several times a year.
And, Occasionally we will get a special store just for the apartments.
 
Not every player can afford to expand her/his apartment as much as they would like to but those of us with enough income to allow it, we can't resist buying a new room, on a new floor when we get the chance to do so.
This is a guide to teach you about these additional floors and the first thing to learn is that the number of floors you can have is only limited  by your personal, real life income & ability to buy diamonds in the game. However, additional floors DO NOT give you additional income from the apartment. To increase the apartment income after purchasing all rooms on the 1st floor, you must increase your level.
 
     1) To gain access, to buy a new room on a new floor you must buy all of the rooms on the                   previous floor.
     2) Purchasing a new room will always cost 50 diamonds, & gives you no extra income.
     3) All rooms on a floor must be purchased before a new floor becomes available to you.
     4) Expanding your apartment does not guarantee a podium win
(although it should, IMO)

 
To find the apartments with additional floors, go to their profile, click on apartment, then click on rooms, then if you see only 2 numbers this apartment has not been expanded.
If you see a 3 in the floor list, you can hold down the ctrl button while scrolling over the floor numbers to see how many floors this apartment has.
