Auctions are presented by the admins and are another form of shopping for unique and, temporarily available, special items.
If you choose to try an auction, be ready to lose a huge amount of
cash and diamonds, with little or no return.
Also, be ready to lose half of everything you bid.
Below you will see a few of the items from a past Auction we had, so you can see the prices and also an example of the message 99% of the games' players
will receive after they have bid and lost.
I had to throw away $1200 just to get this message for you to see an example of.
If you see something you want, you should just buy it outright
but everything is extremely expensive.
You only get back half of everything you've bid.
There is no confirm box to ask you if you are sure.
There are no instructions nor announcements for this.
There is always a diamond sale for a few days leading up to the auction time. When the auction begins, the sale on diamonds goes away & you begin to buy or bid & the chances are that you will lose most of the gems you just bought.
Not all auctions have this many choices.
Some Auctions have crappy clothes, and only a few items.
This Auction is the 3rd one I've seen in 15 months & it had the best items to choose from.
Personally, I strongly dislike and almost never do the auctions because I feel they are only here to take advantage of players without the experience to know better.
Once you go to the Auction you can find this information box, if you look for the ?.
It hides behind a question mark in the upper right hand corner of the box where the bids are.
There is never any bids shown.
Once the bid is placed, they take it & it is completely gone until the end of the auction at which time you only get back some of your bids.
You are never asked to confirm your bid.
You get NO chance of changing your mind.
I bid $1200 to get the headphones but only got this message.
So, basically they accepted my bid, took my money and told me too bad, you get nothing.
After the auction, I got this notification message
In My Opinion, this is a huge scam and a ripoff because the adminstration leads players to think this is an event by posting it where events show up and they never explain any rules for it to the players.
New players have no idea what it is or that they will lose huge amounts of whatever they bid.
